Our Feasibility Studies provide detailed pro forma financial projection model for our client’s broadband system that includes estimates of capital investments, annual expenses, operational costs, profits, and losses.

A Business Plan will be created that defines your telecommunication business development goals. The Plan will include details of the business structure and operations, proforma financial statements, and a financial analysis.

Financing

TICOM’s services include assisting our clients with securing grant funding and loan financing at various stages of project development and implementation.  To date, our client’s projects have been awarded approximately $100M in federal, state, and tribal grant funding; and $12M in Tax Credit Financing.  These funds have been used to support wireline and wireless construction projects.

Regulatory

TICOM assists in complying with federal, tribal, and state government regulations to meet project requirements. TICOM services include technical and regulatory services that meet FCC, FAA, and BIA requirements.

Network Planning

TICOM combines the expertise and technical resources of the telecommunications industry in defining a strategic network plan and design by integrating all aspects of our clients’ project objectives and requirements. TICOM utilizes a comprehensive methodology that includes system design review and assistance, maximization of existing invested infrastructure, verification assistance, and a deployment plan review.

Network Engineering

TICOM’s network design process incorporates extensive knowledge and experience along with best practices of the telecom industry in the network design for both wireline and wireless systems. TICOM’s network design work incorporates the use of leading edge and advanced technologies to help our clients make the best investment decisions within the constraints of capital and operations and maintenance budgets. TICOM’s network design services include transport fiber facilities, fiber to the premise, home and business; contractor and vendor selection, core and access network equipment specification development and implementation, and final assessment of the Acceptance Test Plan.

Outside Plant Engineering

TICOM has experience in all aspects of outside plant engineering, and management services for a total turn-key operation. Our complete project management approach includes route feasibility and cost studies, field engineering and mapping services incorporating aerial, buried and underground facilities, preparation of plans, specifications and Request for Proposals, bid processing and bid evaluations, contract preparation, permitting and Right-of-way acquisitions, construction management support, construction inspection services, and final as-built documentation post-construction.

CAD Design & GIS Mapping

TICOM utilizes AutoCAD and ESRI ArcGIS mapping software in all aspect of your broadband system implementation, deployment, and management. TICOM collects GPS field data utilizing sub-meter high-accuracy GNSS Trimble Geo7x GPS collector for use in planning, designing and ultimately producing as-built drawings.

Project & Construction Management

Our clients benefit from a single point of management responsibility for planning, design management, and operational services.  TICOM manages projects to ensure orderly and timely completion, monitors the implementation, and provides analysis and resolution of claims or disputed issues.  Our services include documentation of progress, schedule reviews and updates, handling submittals and requests for information, and review of contractor payment requests.

TICOM reviews construction progress to ensure compliance with specifications and plans.  TICOM provides negotiation and coordination of change orders with the contractors, determines responsibility for changed conditions or coordination conflict, provides review of price and schedule changes, and certifies the Substantial Completion and Final Acceptance for construction projects.
